DALZELL - JoAnne Elizabeth VanHoute Wills, 71, wife of Glenn Eugene Wills, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born May 20, 1947, in Waterloo, NY, she was a daughter of the late Jacob VanHoute and the late Agnes Murphy VanHoute. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a graduate of DeSales High School and retired from AAFES after 28 years as a military clothing sales manager.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years; a son, Jeffrey Wills (Leslie) of Hartford, AL; two daughters, Jo Lynne Schneider (Michael) of Guntersville, AL and Lee Anna Brown of Sumter; three grandchildren, Michael Schneider of Mobile, AL, Allyson Wills of Chattanooga, TN, and Lizbeth Wills of Dalzell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald VanHoute; two sisters, Carol Bliss and Ann Belote; a nephew, Ryan Dumas; and a niece, Taylor Rae Bliss.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
