Betty Selph Campbell, 79, wife of Charles William Campbell, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born June 10, 1938, in Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Selph and the late Beulah Dixon Selph. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses North Congregation and retired from Sumter School District 2.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years; three children, Steve Campbell (Linda), Sharlene Herbert (Tim), and Mark Campbell (Tammy) all of Sumter; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tony Selph (Amy) of Irmo and Don Selph (Robin) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, Sherri Selph of Sumter.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Elaine Campbell; and a brother, Danny Selph.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Campbell, Tyler Brown, Davis Campbell, Jackson Campbell, Trey Griffin, and John Pike.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sharlene and Tim Herbert, 320 Mallard Dr.
