Deborah S. Smith, 61, died Friday, September 29, 2017, at McLeod Regional Center in Florence.

Born September 29, 1956, in Kosciusko, MS, she was a daughter of the late W.W. “Duce” Steen and the late Bonnie Palmertree Steen. She was a member of Bethany Church of God in Poplar Creek, MS. She was a unit manager at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she had many friends that very near and dear to her heart.

Survivors include four children, Tory Josey (Jamie) of Sumter, SC, Brad Graham (Christy) of Sumter, SC. Bryan Graham (Alicia) of Center Grove, MS, and Megan Smith (Mike) of Wedgefield, SC; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Steen and Gerald Steen; and a sister, Teresa Marter.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Steen Crum.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held in Poplar Creek, MS.
