Dr. H. Wayne Richardson, 67, husband of Frankie Anne Richardson, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at his home.

Born in Tachikawa, Japan he was a son of the late MSgt James T. Richardson and the late Dorothy L. Richardson. Dr. Richardson was employed by Phibro-Tech for more than twenty-three years and was Vice President of Research and Development.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years of Sumter; two daughters, Leia Richardson of Columbia and Katie Richardson of Sumter; three sons, Stephen Richardson of Sumter, Michael Richardson of Fowley, Alabama, and Matt Richardson of Macon, Georgia; and three grandchildren; Keagan, Sophia, and Dalton.

Preceded in death by a son, Marc Richardson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.
