Penny Nealey McGee, 45, wife of James Rusty McGee, died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Palmetto Health-Tuomey.

Born in Whiteville, NC she was a daughter of Doris Martin Nealey. Mrs. McGee was a member of Safe Harbor Worship Center in Columbia and a nurse at Brookdale-Sumter Senior Living.

Survivors include her husband of Sumter; mother of Scranton; two daughters, Sarah Emily Boswell (Cameron) and Rachel Floyd (fiancé, Austin Wells) both of Sumter; one step-daughter, Breanna Jeffreys (Landon) of Sumter; three grandchildren, McKenna Jeffreys, Montgomery Jeffreys, and Wyatt Boswell; one sister, Lisa Ridgill of Coward; three special nephews, Michael McCoy, Brandon McCoy, and Brad Justice; and number of other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Derrick Cutter and the Rev. Donald Rowell officiating. Entombment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Justin Huggins, Michael McCoy, Brandon McCoy, Landon Jeffreys, Cameron Boswell, and Austin Wells.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne McElveen, Gabriel Sanchez-Beltran, and William Boswell, III.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Landon and Breanna Jeffreys, 1850 Campbell Ct.
