Obituary for Suzanne Renee Gill (Gracey)
Suzanne Renee Gracey Gill, 59, wife of Larry E. Gill, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born March 9, 1963, in Hershey, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Clifford Gracey and the late Anna Grace Heisey Neff. She attended Sumter First Baptist Church and Christ Community Church. She worked as Billing Coordinator for Sandhills Medical Foundation for 18 years. Suzanne loved her family, dogs, traveling and Kentucky Wildcats Basketball. She will always be remembered for her ever present and beautiful smile.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Geoffrey Gill (Sarah), and Spencer Gill (Katie); five grandchildren, Elijah, Nathan, Oliver, Henry, and Elena; father-in-law, Galen E. Gill; and brother-in-law, Galen W. Gill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Nancy K. Gill, stepfather, Richard Neff, and her dog Tyler which she referred to as her “bestest boy.”
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Bart Miles.
The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Carolina Helping Paws Rescue (https://www.carolinahelpingpawrescue.org/).
