Obituary for Robert McBride "Bobby" Muldrow

Robert “Bobby” McBride Muldrow, 80, husband of Patricia Brunson Muldrow, died January 21, 2023, at his home.

Born July 17, 1942, in Sumter County he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Muldrow and the late Lucile Rhodes Muldrow. He grew up in the Mayesville Community and was a member Mayesville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. He later became a member and attended Sardinia Presbyterian Church of America for fifteen years before returning to Mayesville ARP. Mr. Muldrow was ordained and served as a deacon in both churches. He worked as a mechanic at Campbell Soup, a farmer, and retired as the owner/operator of Bobby Muldrow Trucking, LLC.

Survivors in addition to his wife of 57 years include two sons, Robert Edward Muldrow (Jennie), and Stevenson McBride Muldrow (Beth); one daughter Leigh Ann Muldrow Ross (Gary); seven grandchildren, Robert Daniel Muldrow, James Patrick Muldrow, Matthew Richard Muldrow, Ethan McBride Muldrow, Madeline Lucile Ross, Molleigh Laken Ross and Skyler Elizabeth Muldrow; two sisters, Lucy Muldrow Brunson, and Mary Alice Muldrow; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Edward Muldrow, Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday at Mayesville Black River Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Peake officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
