Obituary for Rose Diane Stroud Anderson
Rose Diane Stroud Anderson,76, wife of Willie A. Anderson, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born February 18, 1946, in Mullins, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Vernon Stroud and the late Florrie Mae Causey Stroud. She was a member of Grace Full Gospel Church. She retired from Sumter School District #2 where she taught Computer Technology.
Survivors in addition to her husband include four sons, Blake (Karen), Jeffrey (Joyce), Adam (Robin), and Craig; daughter-in-law, Lynn; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Grainger and Sandy Altizer; one brother, Joe Stroud; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve; a daughter, Pam, and a brother, Lawrence Stroud.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Clyde Chan, the Rev. Stacy Floyd, and the Rev. Aaron Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ray McKenzie, Buddy Scott, Tim Williams, Jay Woodle, Kenny Norris, and Maxie Grainger.
