Daniel Dale Browder, Sr., 58, died Monday, November 28, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born May 10, 1964, in Sumter, he was a son of Frances Elaine Welch Clayton and the late Daniel Stevenson Browder. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He was a loving father and grandfather, and a friend to many.
Survivors in addition to his mother include five children, Delany McDonald (Fritz), Dalton Browder, Danielle Browder, Hailey Ehrhardt, and Kolton Browder; three grandchildren, Matthew Browder, Jacob McDonald, and Amily Browder; two sisters, Elaine Westmoreland (Bill) of Lancaster and Jocelyn Goff (Chris) of Sumter; one niece, Jessica Gause (Steven), and two nephews, Clayton Goff, and Cooper Goff.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Joseph Clayton and Daniel Stevenson Browder; a son, Daniel Dale Browder, Jr.; a grandson, Caleb Browder; and a nephew, Jesse M. Sainz, IV.
A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at 3470 Widman Dr. and 7 Edgewater Dr.
