Obituary for Patricia Ann "Patsy" Aburn (Watts)

Patricia “Patsy” Ann Watts Aburn, 81, passed away peacefully September 19, 2022, at her residence.

She was born January 10, 1941, in Sumter County, SC, the second youngest of 14 children to Annie Bell Robison and Edmond B. Watts.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Louise Watts, James and Gertie Watts, Franklin Watts, E.B. Watts Jr., Othell and Mary Lou Watts, John Milton Watts and Wyman Watts; sisters and brothers-in-law Lorena and Carlyle Nesbitt, Mildred and Euston Green, Gladys and Bruce Buddin, and Elma and SW Prescott, Sara Hendrix-Turner and Loy Hendrix.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Aburn, as well as her children, son, William P. Aburn of Kokomo, IN, and daughter, Traci Aburn Nelson and her husband, Josh Morrell of Sumter, SC; three grandchildren, Braun Aburn of Kokomo, IN; Bethany Kincaid of Kokomo, IN; and Tannor Nelson of Whiteland, IN.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Libby and J.H. Moore, sisters-in-law, Ruby Watts, Joyce Watts, Uldine Watts, and Grace Watts; brother-in-law Ken Turner; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family expresses its appreciation to Diane White, SC House Calls Nurse Practitioner; Cheryl Graham, Sitter/Caregiver; the staff at Agape Care South Carolina and especially Kim James, Caregiver; Katrina Beasley, Nurse and Beth Schmidtline, Nurse.

Family will receive guests at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Friday, September 23, 2022. Burial will follow at Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Turbeville, SC.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery Fund (PO Box 144, Turbeville, SC 29162).
