Obituary for Cathy Marie Griffin (Anderson)
Cathy Marie Anderson Griffin, 69, widow of Otto “Son” Griffin, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at her home.
Born December 4, 1952, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Walter T. Anderson and the late Marie Windham McLeod. She attended New Testament Lighthouse Church.
Survivors include two sons, Willie Hill (Melissa) and Jamie Hill (Kimberly) both of Sumter; two brothers, Bobby Anderson, and Billy Anderson (Shirley) both of Sumter; one sister, Sandra Jean Lynch (Manley) of Sumter; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joey Anderson Sr. and Ronnie Anderson, Sr.; and a sister, Christopher Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
