Our Angel lost her hearing at the young age of eight when she was diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis. It was heartbreaking for her to leave her family to attend the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind. She graduated with a Degree in Cosmetology. Our Mother was truly an Angel. She ran the race of life, II Timothy 4:7. She made a difference in many lives, especially those of the deaf. She taught the Flying Fingers Sunday School class for over 60 years. She was dedicated and wanted her deaf loved ones to understand God’s word and accept Him as their Savior. She was a lady full of grace, beauty, love, faith, and the Holy Spirit. She put God first in all her deeds, Matthew 6:33.
