Obituary for Carolyn Phillips Holbert

Carolyn Phillips Holbert, 77, widow of Robert G. “Bob” Holbert, died Friday, June 24, 2022, at her home.
Born July 15, 1944, in Dillon, she was a daughter of the late Junior Phillips and the late Virginia McGrady Phillips. She worked as a civil service employee at Ft. Jackson and Shaw Air Force Base and later as licensed cosmetologist and hairdresser until her retirement.
Survivors include one daughter, Leigh Fulton of Georgetown; one granddaughter, Ryleigh Fulton; one sister, Patricia Ross of Florence; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Elmore-Canon-Stephens Funeral Home.
