Obituary for Arthur Bruce Ellisor
Arthur Bruce Ellisor, 67, husband of Donna “Susie” O. Ellisor, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at home among family and friends.
Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Arthur Bachman Ellisor and the late Helen Pearl Geddings Ellisor. He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church. He loved motorcycles, especially his Goldwing, "hot rod" cars, and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan.
Survivors in addition to his wife of 45 years include two daughters, Shannon Murray (Nick) and Kristen Ellisor; three grandchildren, Hailey Rachil Collins, Caden Christopher Weatherly, and Jace Ryan Weatherford; one step-brother, James Stamn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Dr. David Richardson and the Rev. Kirk Carlisle.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be sent to Amedisys Hospice, 198 Wesmark Blvd, Suite 2, Sumter, SC 29150, or to the family c/o Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
