Obituary for Wanda Kay Garner (Hodge)
Wanda Kay Hodge Garner, 62, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born December 8, 1959, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Harmon P. Hodge Sr. and the late Joyce Rogers Hodge.
Survivors include two children, Bobby Garner of Florence and Melissa Ann McElveen of Effingham; three grandchildren, Savannah Victoria Garner, Kaniyah Marie Garner, and Josiah Malik Barr; a sister, Bonnie Hodge Oxendine of NC; and a close friend, Tom.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harmon P. Hodge, Jr.; a sister, Shelby Green; and a niece, Tina Berry.
A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
