Obituary for Sharon Jarrett Davis
Sharon Jarrett Davis, 70, widow of Willard Eldridge Davis, died Friday, May 6, 2022, at her home.
Born March 13, 1952, in Ithaca, NY, she was a daughter of the late Harvey “Pete” Jarrett and the late Jeannette Doane Jarrett. She was employed as an LPN for 48 years and was employed at Lake Marion Nursing Center for 27 years. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was an active member of Joy Givers Sunday School class. Her interests were missions, reading, music, and time with family and friends.
Survivors include three children, Shannon Sandifer (William), Shari Cartledge (Matthew), and DonLee Davis (April); seven grandchildren, Tianna Hall, Patrick Sandifer, Leland Davis, Thomas Davis, Jacob Davis, Thomas Sandifer, and Ian Sandifer; one great grandson, Brayden “Flash” Garland; and two sisters, Linda Thomas and Phyllis Bradshaw.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Jarrett.
A funeral service will be held at 4 P.M. Monday at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne McElveen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 P.M Monday at Providence Baptist Church and other times at the home.
