Obituary for Betty Louise Oliver
Betty Louise Oliver, 77, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born September 29, 1944, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Willie R. Oliver and the late Addie D. Oliver. She attended Sumter First Church of the Nazarene. She loved her family especially her nieces and nephews. She was happiest when rocking a baby. She enjoyed crocheting and won Blue Ribbons at the Sumter County Fair. She was a friend to all who knew her, and she loved everyone.
She is survived by two sisters, Ellen Geddings (Billy) and Jenny Mosier (Eugene); two brothers, Roger Oliver and Gene Oliver (Jean); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by nephews, Eric Benjamin Geddings and Richard Eugene “Buddy” Oliver; and a sister-in-law, Shelby C. Oliver.
A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Pressley and the Rev. Dr. James Thrower, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
