Obituary for Robert Lee Frazier Jr.

MSgt Robert Lee Frazier, Jr. (USMC ret), 63, died August 26th, 2021, at Prisma Tuomey Health
Born December 1, 1957, in Sumter, SC, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Frazier, Sr and the late Sylvia Baker Frazier.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Pamela Langston Frazier; a daughter Jennifer F. King (Wyatt); a son James P. Frazier (Usha); his much loved 6 grandchildren that he called his “Minions”….Cameron, Sabastian, Mackenzie, Peighton, Nathaniel, and Elizabeth; and one very spoiled lapdog named Bella.

He is also survived by one sister Tonya Grammer of Jacksonville, NC; a brother Ronald Frazier of Horseshoe, NC; and several nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Joseph Randal Frazier.

He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He joined the Marine Corps in 1975 and was a career Marine of almost 25 years. He was a drill instructor at Parris Island, an officer candidate instructor at Quantico and was the SNCOIC of Operations Logistics school at the time of his retirement from the Corps in 1999. Since 2000 he was employed by Jet-Vac Equipment Company in Sumter. He loved to play golf with his son and spending time with his “Minions”. He loved to cook and was the family grill master and made the best extra cheesy cheese grits from his secret recipe. He was avid collector of snakes, and was very proud of his collection.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
