Obituary for Barbara Jean Davis (Chandler)
Barbara Jean Chandler Davis, 82, wife of Billy D. Davis, died Tuesday June 8, 2021, at Lexington Community Hospice House-Agape Care in Lexington.
Born January 10, 1939, in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Chandler and the late Lena McElveen Marshall. She was retired from Campbell Soup Company.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her daughter, Kathy Ray McLeod (Henry) of Pinewood; two granddaughters, Kelly Brown (Eric), and Kristen Wright (Randy); and four great grandchildren, Ansley Wright, Laney Wright, Karley Brown, and Kourtney Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Pinewood Cemetery with the Rev. Allan Glass officiating.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
