Obituary for Joann Herrington Yow
Joann Herrington Yow, 74, died Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born November 9, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Robert Herrington and the late Annie Mae McCoy Herrington.
Survivors include a daughter, Daphne Yow Kruger (Bobby); a grandson, Aaron Kruger (Rebecca Tumbleston); a granddaughter, Shelby Griffin (Josh); a great-granddaughter, Nora Gray Griffin; sisters, Sheila Brown, Debbie Griffin (Lenny), and Nancy Meyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shanna Michell Yow; brothers, Bobby Herrington and Jimmy Herrington; and a sister, Shelby Wright.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
