Obituary for Mildred Rabon "Mickey" Brown

Mildred “Mickey” Rabon Brown, widow of Beaufort “Boots” Brown, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

Born on September 7, 1932 in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Ezell and Katie Rabon. She was a 1950 graduate of Ashwood High School and retired from Sumter Pediatrics. She was an active member of Crosswell Baptist church for 60 years. After retirement, she was a devoted part time worker at The Wishing Well Gift Shop at Prisma Tuomey Hospital.

She was preceded by death by her husband of 54 years; her brothers, Grover Rabon (Billie), and Pete Rabon (Carolyn); her sisters, Emily Rabon Haselden (Jimmy), and Sara Rabon Davis (T.A).

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Brown Bahnmuller (Brant); her granddaughter, Kate Hannah Smith; brothers, Bobby Rabon (Juanita), Larry Rabon (Geri); a sister, Betty Rabon Lewis; and many special nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid, the family will have a private graveside funeral officiated by Reverend Charles Owens.

Pallbearers will be Garland Hunt, Todd Harris, Charles Evenich, Sr., Kyle Radford, Bryson Radford, and Chad Hunt.
