Obituary for Lora Lee Osborne (McLeod)

Lora Lee McLeod Osborne, 68, widow of James Charles Osborne, died Monday, January 25, 2021 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

Born May 18, 1952, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Marshall R. McLeod and the late Janie Lee Griffin McLeod. She was a member of Pocalla Holiness Church. She loved her family and loved being “Granny”.

Survivors include two sons, Eric “Peanut” Osborne (Kimberly) and Rev. Jamie Osborne (Sarah) both of Sumter; one daughter, Becky Hardin (Rev. Robbie) of Sumter; seven grandchildren Jacob Osborne, Owen Osborne, Grantley Hardin, Lauren Hardin, Kade Hardin, Kaitlyn Osborne, and Kelsey Osborne; six brothers, Roland McLeod, Edward McLeod (Sandy), Steve McLeod (Gloria), Albert McLeod (Jean), Robert McLeod (Cathy), and Bubba McLeod; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Friday at Pocalla Holiness Church with the Rev. Robbie Hardin, the Rev. Jamie Osborne, and the Rev. Jason Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Owen Osborne, Jacob Osborne, Grantley Hardin, Eric “Peanut” Osborne, Kelly McLeod, and Johnny McLeod.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 P.M. Friday at Pocalla Holiness Church and other times at the home of Becky and Robbie Hardin, 2045 Lloyd Dr.

The family requests that those attending wear masks and practice social distancing.
