Obituary for William Allen "Lynn" Prather Jr.
William Allen “Lynn” Prather, Jr., 63, died Thursday, November 26, 2020, at his home.
Born February 20, 1957, in Washington, GA, he was the son of Frances Kirby Bryant Prather and the late William Allen “Billy” Prather, Sr. He was employed at Santee Print Works for 36 years.
Survivors include his mother of Sumter; a son, Allen Prather (Melissa) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Addie Prather, Will Prather, and Jake Prather; three sisters, Marla Prather Bilton of Georgetown, Cindy Prather Jackson (Dwayne) of Sumter, and Lara Prather Mims (Stephen) of Sumter; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Steve Williams officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7021 St. Andrews Rd., Suite 100 A, Columbia, SC 29204.
