Obituary for Eric Wayne Young
Eric Wayne Young, 37, died Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born August 5, 1983, in Sumter, he was a son of Ralph Warren Young and Linda Marie Eldridge Thomas. He was employed by Santee Print Works and was a member of the Limited Edition Motorcycle Club.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Cindy of Sumter; mother of Sumter; two children, Caiden Wayne Young and Robbie Chrastil; three brothers, Glendon Young (Dana) of Sumter, Chris Fostervold (Jennifer) of Dalzell, and Travis Thomas of Sumter; a sister, Deanna Thomas of FL, maternal grandfather, Ronald G. Eldridge, Sr.; fiancé, Kayla Migliaccio of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dean Thomas; paternal grandparents, Loyd and Betty Young; and maternal grandmother, Mildred Eldridge.
A memorial gathering will be held at 3 P.M. Friday at 3200 Byrd Rd., Dalzell.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
