Obituary for Ronald Glendon Eldridge Jr.

Ronald Glendon Eldridge, Jr., 59, died Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born March 8, 1961, in Limestone, Maine, he was a son of Ronald G. Eldridge, Sr. and the late Mildred Leeman Eldridge. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and also attended Salt and Light Church. He was a realtor with ERA Wilder Realty and was the owner and operator of Savannah Break.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Magdaline of Sumter; a daughter, Makenzy Jordan Eldridge of Sumter; a brother, Robert Eldridge of Toronto, Canada; three sisters, Linda Thomas, Patricia Eldridge, and Barbara Richburg all of Sumter; his fiancé, Mary Merk of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Eldridge.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Durham, Jamie Campbell, Chuck McIntosh, Michael Jordan, Jason Goodson, and Brant Bahnmuller.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Westside Baptist Church.
