Obituary for Josette B Finley

Josette B. Finley, 85, widow of Elmer Gene Finley, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at her home.

Born September 7, 1934, in France, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Adamzak and the late Bronislava Czytlijewiec Adamzak.

Survivors include two children, Patricia Brown of Sumter and Denny Gene Finley (Rhonda) of Bishopville; three grandchildren, Daniel Finley (Sandee) of Gray Court, Jeremy Brown (Christian) of Sumter, and Lindsay Lefler (Edward) of Sumter; three great-grandchildren, Zachary Brown, Canon Finley, and Bryson Brown; two sisters, Jeanine Carter of Florence and Bernadette Mondoux of Alpharetta, GA; and a special friend, Richard Turmenne.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kenneth Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ron Bower officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. In keeping with the COVID-19 guidelines, those attending are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Brown, 1930 St. Paul Church Rd.
