Obituary for Ruby Turner Pritchard

Ruby Lee Turner Pritchard, 92, widow of Leo M. “Bo” Pritchard, died Monday, June 08, 2020 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born August 24, 1927, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Elbert Turner and the late Viola Hudson Turner. Mrs. Pritchard was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church. She was a former long–time member of Providence Baptist Church. She had a servant’s heart and always enjoyed working and serving in her church. She retired from Campbell’s Soup Company.

Survivors include two children, Sandra Parks (Henry), and Charles Gary Bowden (Opal) of both of TN; her loving and caring grandson, Grady Carraway (Debbye); five additional grandchildren, Kim Wilson, Shea Minoughan, Jody Wells, Charlie Bowden (Cam), and Kasey Cerra; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Owens officiating.
