Obituary for Patricia Thames Allen
Patricia Thames Allen, 70, widow of Walter Rufus Thames and David Allen, died Saturday, April 25, 2020, at her home.
Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late James Clinton Ingram and the late Annie Lee Tolbert. She was formerly employed by Rubye J. Johnson Head Start in Sumter. She was a member of Hephzibah Bible Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Thames Barkley of Sumter; four grandchildren, Ryan Newman, Terry Farran, Jr., Shanna Benenhaley, and Kristen Benenhaley; a great-granddaughter, Kylee Hayden; a sisters, Delores Ann Ciucevich of Savannah, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Lee officiating.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
