Obituary for Sharon McGibeny Vermeland
Sharon McGibeny Vermeland, 56, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at her home.
Born September 16, 1963, in Elizabeth City, NC, she was a daughter of Betty Bulsterbaum and the late Arthur David McGibeny. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was formerly employed at NBSC.
Survivors include her mother of Sumter; a son, Andrew Vermeland of Greenville; two sisters, Andrea L. Fickling (Frank) of Sumter and Lisa Lemacks (Michael) of Asheville, NC; nephews, Walker Fickling, Noah Lemacks, and Jacob Lemacks; and nieces, Hannah Grace Lemacks and Isabella Lemacks.
A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Bob Calvert officiating.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
