Obituary for Jennie R. Hoover (Lowery)
Jennie R. Hoover, 78, widow of Patrick Daniel Hoover, Sr., died Sunday, March 29, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born September 11, 1941, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lowery and the late Ruth Ray Lowery. She retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Shaw Air Force Base. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Patrick Daniel “Danny” Hoover, Jr.; a granddaughter, Abbigail Hoover; a great-granddaughter, Emma Hoover; and a brother, Phillip Lowery.
A private graveside service will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
