Obituary for Joanne Youngblood Barnes
Joanne Youngblood Barnes, 76, wife of Bobby Hall Barnes, Sr., died Monday, March 09, 2020, at NHC Healthcare.
Born April 16, 1943, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Doug Youngblood and the late Anna Blackwell Youngblood. She was a member of Dalzell United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years; two children, Bobby H. Barnes, Jr. and Joanna Barnes both of Sumter; a sister, Carol Fournier of Sumter; nieces, Jean Ann Brown and Paula Cearley; nephew, John Fournier; and a great-niece, Kelly Sims.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Youngblood, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Holley and the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
