James Stepney, 88, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
He was born November 18, 1931, in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church at Oswego and was formerly employed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his Christian brothers and sisters at Bethel United Methodist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church Youth Fund, 5575 Lodebar Rd., Sumter, SC 29153.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
