Virginia Florence Anthony Amundson, 96, widow of Raymond Edward Amundson, died Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born November 16, 1923, in Spokane, WA, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Anthony and the late Annie Grace Couch Anthony. She was an avid Bridge player.
Survivors include three children, Ann DeLoach (Charles) of Wedgefield, Gina Amundson of Rainier, WA, and Nadine Pappas of Troy, MO; three grandchildren, Laura Bach (Justin), Karla Pappas, and Kararae Goins (Henry); three great-grandchildren, Alex, Gavin, and Hank; a brother, Richard Anthony, of VA; and a sister, Verna Baker of WA.
A private service will be held in Washington at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Sumter S.P.C.A., 1140 South Guignard Dr., Sumter, SC 29150.
