Obituary for William Cuttino "Billy" Pritchard
William “Billy” Cuttino Pritchard, 62, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at McLeod Health Clarendon after a short illness.
Born October 3, 1957, in Sumter, he was the youngest son of the late Cecil Alvin Pritchard, Sr. and the late Dorothy L. Pack Pritchard.
Billy was a faithful employee at Sumter Utilities for 42 years until he retired August 5, 2019 due to health reasons. Billy loved his work at Sumter Utilities and his Dad’s “72 GMC Pickup truck. He was an avid car show guy and loved old cars and working on them.
Billy is survived by his only son, William “Will” Cecil Pritchard (Sabrina); a brother, Cecil A. “Al” Pritchard, Jr. (Ann); three sisters, Lois P. McLeod (William), Paula P. Barkley (Ben), Lillian June P. Wilson (Wesley); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Wayne McElveen officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be members of the Iron Order M.C.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Sumter Utilities and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
