Obituary for Debra Odom Welch
Debra Odom Welch, 70, wife of Danny C. Welch, died Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born October 27, 1949, in Darlington, she was a daughter of the late Willie Odom and the late Essie Suggs Odom. Mrs. Welch attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was employed by Dixie-Darlington for several years.
Survivors include her husband of Sumter; two children, Pam Saverance (David), and William Kelly (Rebecca) both of Darlington; a step-son, Daniel Welch (Kim) of Sumter; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Fraser officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3105 Avin Road.
