Obituary for Joyce Margaret Button (Crump)
Joyce Margaret Crump Button, 84, widow of Robert Dean Button, died Monday, October 28, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born September 2, 1935, in England, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Crump and the late Ethel Crump. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter. She was a member of the Sumter British Wives Club where she served as the Postal Secretary for the National Organization.
Survivors include a son, Glenn Button; a grandson, Joshua Glenn Button (Kayla Marie Ratliff); and a great-granddaughter, Finnleigh Nichole Button.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Allan Button; and a sister, Sheila Ann Heath.
A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Lowder officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Pee Dee Area Council, 702 S. Coit St, Florence, SC 29501.
