Obituary for Betty Moore Fralick

Betty Moore Fralick, 78, wife of Irvin Fralick, Jr., died Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born June 23, 1941, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Baxter Platt Moore, Sr. and the late Merlene Kirby Moore. Mrs. Fralick was a member of First Baptist Church–Sumter. She was a lifelong, respected and much sought-after floral designer. She was a loving wife to her husband, and mother to her two boys. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren as she took great pride in taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years; two sons, Morgan Fralick of Winston-Salem, NC, and Jeff Fralick, Sr. (Kim) of Sumter; four grandchildren, David Fralick, Bethany Fralick, Mary Beth Skey (Sean), and Jeffrey Fralick, Jr (Jessica); and three great grandchildren, Marsha Kate Skey, Anne Beatson Skey, and Mary Ellis Fralick.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Platt Moore, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Bob Calvert officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Fralick, Jr., David Fralick, Sean Skey, Platt Moore, III, Al Hubbard, Bobby Beatson, Jr., and Ronnie Beatson.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jeff and Kim Fralick, 2266 Garrison Street.
