Obituary for Aletha Ruth Biering (Robinson)
Aletha Ruth Robinson Biering, 74, wife of Stephen P. Biering, Sr., died Monday, September 30, 2019 at The Gardens at Sumter.
Born April 6, 1945, in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Cullen Robinson and the late Aletha Gaither Robinson. She was a member of St Anne Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years; five children, Stephen P. Biering, Jr. (Tammy) of Knoxville, TN, Delores Biering Hodge (Kyle) of Smyrna, Sunny-Lynne Biering (Jamie) of Pinewood, Susanna Biering (Zack Harman) of Columbia, and Mia Traugott (Ed) of Lake Wylie; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Robinson.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Rufino Madridejos, CRM officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
