Obituary for Randolph E "Randy" Galloway
Randolph E. “Randy” Galloway, 66, husband of Liz J. Belsole, died Friday, September 6, 2019, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Born November 11, 1952, in Sumter, he was the son of the late Jessie V. Galloway and the late Dora Ann Mathis Galloway. Randy was a 1972 graduate of Thomas Sumter Academy. He was a real estate investor and the former owner of Best Insurance Company. He was a former member and past president of the Sumter Jaycees. Randy loved beach music and collecting antiques.
Survivors include his wife, Liz; step-children, Cheryl Landstrom (Michael) and their children, Sara and Madison, and Michael Levendoski (Shawn) and their children, Zachary, Nicholas, and Emily; an uncle, Butch Galloway of Sumter; and many cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Pressley officiating. Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Pusadee Suchinda, Dr. Mark Crabbe, Dr. Alton Jordan, and Dr. Gopi Shah.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service at the O’Donnell House.
