Robert W. “Bobby” Tomasch, 63, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia.

Born December 29, 1955, in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of Helga Konrad Tomasch and the late Robert Tomasch. He was a certified welder and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration Technician. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his mother of Wedgefield; two sisters, Hilda Stevens (Mark) of Raleigh, NC and Linda Brice (Billy) of Sumter; and nieces and nephews, Mark, John, Brandon, Gaige, Ashlynne, Daniel, Savannah, and Parker.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles Ahtonen officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and at the home of his mother following the graveside service.
