Obituary for Gerolyn Gale "Gerry Gale" Bradham (Gibbons)

Gerolyn Gale “Gerry Gale” Gibbons Bradham, 79, widow of Richard Bradham, passed away on May 24, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

A native of Turbeville, she attended East Clarendon High School and was a graduate if the class of 1958. She graduated from the Tuomey Nursing School in 1961. She was a Registered Nurse for 42 years. She worked at Tuomey Hospital for twenty three years and other hospitals and nursing facilities at other times. Mrs. Bradham was a member of Northside Memorial Baptist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her three sons, Chuck Driggers (Jackie), David Driggers, and Walt Driggers (Gingi); grandchildren, Morgan Boykin (Reed), Haley Driggers, Heather Martin (Cam), and Mary Beth Dooley; and great grandchildren, Cole Martin, and Amelia Martin.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Rounette Gibbons; and a grandson, Preston Blake Driggers.

A celebration of Gerry Gale’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Northside Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Sweet and the Rev. Mike Lowder officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Turbeville.

Pallbearers will be Bill Rhodes, Joey Floyd, Jay Floyd, John Nesbitt, Reed Boykin, and Joey Duggan.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 17 Brogdon Street.
