Obituary for Joseph E Krasko

Joseph E. Krasko, 90, husband of Diane J. Krasko, died Monday, March 25, 2019, at his home.

Born July 29, 1928, in Little Falls, NY, he was a son of the late Charles Krasko and the late Teofila Lescinska Krasko. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and retired from the U.S. Air Force after twenty years of service to his country. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. Following his military service, Mr. Krasko worked as an electrician with Carolina Heating and Electric. He was a Mason for 60 years, a Shriner for 55 years, a member of the Claremont Masonic Lodge #64 and the Nile Temple.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years; three children, Joseph E. Krasko, Jr. (Annette) of Rembert, James Krasko (Debra) of Denver, NC, and Edith Krasko of Sumter; a grandson, Jason Kyle McGregor; and a brother, Raymond Krasko of Yuma, AZ.

He was preceded in death by 15 siblings.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 P.M. Friday in the Sumter Cemetery.
