Pat Hartigan, 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 10, 2019. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Pat was born November 20, 1930 in Albany, NY to the late Dr. Richard Byrnes and the late Alice Mooney Byrnes. She was a graduate of St. Rose College. She worked as a travel planner for Shell Oil for a short time until she started raising her five children. Pat was an avid bridge player, and enjoyed crafting, interior decorating, thrift shopping, and putting on “Pat’s big feed”, as Dick would say. She volunteered for the Masterson Day Nursery for years.

Pat leaves behind her children, Rick Hartigan (Dawn), Maureen Shaw (Gary), Dr. Mark Hartigan (Clare), Mary Ellen Gibbs, and Megan Hitchcock; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Ann McCan; several beloved nieces and nephews, and her best and lifelong friend, Susan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; son, Daniel; sisters, Kit and Mary; and brother, Dick.

A private service will be held at a later date.
