Obituary for Alvin E "Junior" Jordan Jr.
Alvin E. “Junior” Jordan, Jr., 62, husband of Christina Fant Jordan, died Monday, January 14, 2019, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville.
Born July 26, 1956, in Tampa, FL, he was a son of the late Alvin E. Jordan, Sr. and the late Velma Coker. He was employed by Caterpillar for 13 years, a self-employed diesel mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years; four children, Jason Jordan, Christian Jordan, Timothy Jordan, and Matthew Jordan all of Bishopville; grandchildren, Derrick Smith, Lexie Smith, Hannah Jordan, Wyatt Jordan, and Hailey Jordan; brothers, Tommy Jordan, Kenny Jordan, Wayne Coker, and Steven Coker; and sisters, Carol Day and Darlene Williams.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Floyd; and a son, Daniel Jordan.
A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. Friday in the Wells Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
