Obituary for Pamela Rhea Brumfield (Sargent)

Pamela Rhea Sargent Brumfield, 57, wife of Robert E. Brumfield, died Wednesday, January 02, 2019, at her home.

Born May 18, 1961, in Nashville, TN, she was a daughter of Jim Sargent and Carole Faith Sargent. She graduated from Central Wesleyan College with honors and receive her master’s degree from Clemson University. She was formerly employed at Central Carolina Technical College and retired from the Social Security Administration.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years; parents of Easley; a brother, John Sargent of Sunset, SC; nephews, Alex Sargent and Timothy Sargent; step-daughter, Airica Medlin of Seneca; mother-in-law, Dorothy Brumfield of Anderson; brother-in-law, Stephen Brumfield of Anderson; and sister-in-law, Karen Juneau of Canada.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 P.M. Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and at the home from 1 to 4 P.M. Saturday. Casual attire is requested.

A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
