Agnes Virginia Benenhaley, 74, widow of Luther Ray Benenhaley, died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at NHC Healthcare.
Born February 20, 1944, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Julian Benenhaley and the late Pauline Benenhaley. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and retired from Herald Office Supply in 2013. She was a very loving Momma, “MeMa”, and great-grandmother. She was an avid Carolina fan and loved her dogs, Pappy, Gizmo, and Chance.
Survivors include three daughters, Freda Amerson (Tim), Lisa Coker (Dwight), and Lynn Oliphant (Dion); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and four step-children that she raised, Jerry, David, Alice, and Beverly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Al Sims officiating. Burial will be in the Long Branch Baptist Church cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
