Helen Davis Arnemann, 74, wife of Jim Arnemann, died on December 13, 2017 at her home after an extended illness.

Born on May 6, 1943 in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of the late Mary Martin Davis.
Helen worked for Sumter School District 17, Jim’s Tree Service, Thomas Sumter Academy, and St. James Lutheran School. She was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church and the Ruth Life group.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 54 years, are her two daughters, Mary Johnson, her husband, Stan, and Carolyn Arnemann all of Sumter, two grandsons, Ryan Johnson of Toccoa, Ga. and Daniel Johnson (Rebecca), and one great grandson, Silas Johnson of Winston Salem, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Alice Drive Baptist Church. Dr. Clay Smith and the Rev. Jim Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. Saturday and other times at the home. A private burial will be held later at the Elliott Cemetery in Pinewood SC.
