Dorothy Williams Jackson, 90, widow of Olland Lamar Jackson, Sr., died Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
Born October 11, 1927, in Carbur, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Nigel Herbert Williams and the late Mildritt Golden Williams. She was a member of Bethesda Church of God where she taught Sunday School for over 60 years. She was a teacher at Wilder Elementary School for 21 years.
Survivors include two sons, Lamar Jackson, Jr. of North Myrtle Beach and Larry Jackson of Sumter; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday at Bethesda Church of God with the Rev. Howie Owens officiating. Entombment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Saturday at Bethesda Church of God and other times at the home.
