James Patrick Frotten, 56, husband of Lisa Plourde Frotten, died Saturday, September 23, 2017, at his home.

Born February 24, 1961, in Hiram, Maine, he was a son of the late William Frotten and the late Florence Langen Frotten. He lived in Connecticut for a number years. He had an infectious smile and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of Sumter; his furry children, Remington, Riley, Ginger, and Angel; siblings, John Frotten (Joyce), Sandy Hebert, and Michael Frotten (B.J.); and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Debbie Sirois (Cam), Maureen Plourde, Doreen Slosser (Ron), Elizabeth Bourgoin (Phil), and Tina Balbander (Roger).

He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Norma Thierlt.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
