James Larry Justice, 54, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Clarendon County.

Born in Albany, GA, he was the son of “Rose” Enespidia Ombal Justice and the late Gary Lee Justice. James was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend. The definition of a “good man”. He was the type of person who made all he knew feel at ease when they met or sat down to talk to him, regardless of the subject. Although, at times, he was reserved, his presence was felt by his kind, and sometimes blunt and truthful words. He loved his family, his friends, and racquetball. James had a strong work ethic and excelled at his restaurant management job. WE WILL MISS HIM!

Survivors include his mother of N. Charleston; four sisters, Annie Finley and her husband, Mike, of Berryville, VA, Jeanette Wright and her husband, Wayne, of N. Charleston, Divina Scoggins and her husband, Steven and Lea Justice both of Dallas, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 11 a.m.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
